Does anyone know?
I know the answer probably has a good range for time depending on the runner.. but for typical runners, what should they run? Anyone that was in that shape at one point, what do you think you could average for this workout?

No worse than 3:06
2:55
Right. There's a big problem if 3:06 avg is at hard effort, any 31flat guys know the answer to this?
I'm probably in 33:30 shape right now and recently did 8x1km at 3:08 avg with 75 seconds rest.
2:55 seems correct... I was guessing anywhere between 2:48 and 2:55.. but wanted to hear from guys that actually ran it
In 33low shape I did the same 8x1k workout but with 60s rc so pretty accurate.
I think 2:55 is about right. Maybe faster if you're better at workouts than racing.
It depends how young you are/how much aerobic capacity you have. If you're a young speedster, I'd expect far under 2:55, perhaps under 2:45.

2:50, plus/minus a few seconds.
Under 2:45??? woah.. that's quick! Id say more for a developed athlete in late twenties.. so 2:50-2:55 seems right according to you guys
