If the forecast is calling for north winds at 15mph, does that mean wind is blowing south to north or north to south?

north to south.
The wind will be blowing north to south. I learned this firsthand last month, running the Columbus Marathon with stiff northwest winds. Every time I ran north or west, I was smacked around by a gust of wind.
Wind directions always refer to the direction from which the wind is blowing, so North winds mean that it is blowing from North to South.
