I am working on my running form but wanted to get some feedback about cues. I have an issue with overstriding instead of getting "buttlock", I get hamstring lock. I have read that a cue is to put my foot down "behind me", knowing that that's actually impossible but will lead to my foot landing roughly under me. Other cues? Quickly flicking foot up behind you with hamstrings, pulling with hip flexors, pushing/"cranking" (madness) with glute/hamstring? Is it better to let the foot drop to the ground or to push off? Is a high cadence important?
