Anyone know? Anyone
Anyone know? Anyone
I think only rupp and the Japanese guy did the post race workout.
If he doesn't run 4:01 for a rep, he is done.
He jogged two laps ten did about 10' of static stretching.
He didn't do enough today. The effort was not there
Fork a stick in him.
the two mile WAS the post-race workout
Pushup contest with Osako
Wait.....The Japanese guy has a name? Hutchings referred to him as the Japanese throughout broadcast.

Al Sal had him do 3x1200m w/ 400m recovery jog and then 6x200m to finish.
Levin's post-race workout was turning on Rupp's phone and bringing up Dr. Brown's contact information for him.

Boom.
Pen drop.
Walk away.
The NOP athletes all did a workout post-race:
Rupp/Osako/Levins started by doing 6x800@ what looked to be 5k type effort/pace and were running 2:06 average. Levins started later and joined Osako on repeat #3 or #4. On #1 Osako pulled away from Rupp running 2:06 to Rupps's 2:07high and Salazar pulled Rupp. Osako finished running same pace for next 5 and Levins joined on #4 and did six himself.
Rupp took 10 minutes than started running again and did 4x150@ 19.7-20.2 than 4x200@26-27 (all with 60-70 sec recovery) than began getting back into 800's and running 2:06-2:07 for a few. Rupp was def not on his A game as he looked to be wheezing pretty good and did not seem to be very happy.
Centro did 3 miles at 37.5 per 200m (5:00 pace)... threshold work? Post 3 miles did not see what he did.
Cain/Hasay/Clement did 3 miles at 5:20 pace. Cain stopped at 3 miles, Clement at 3.5, Hasay went 4 miles and went 5:00 pace her final 1k.
Post tempo the girls were running 200's in 29-31.
Hasay seems to be running at a different level than anything in her past at this point, she looked fantastic even at the fast paced stuff.
*NOP Drama note: Both Rupp and Cain did not seem very happy and were not smiling at all during workout. At one point, when Rupp was back to running 800's solo and the girls were running 200's, Cain was in lane 1 (and was in tears, seemed to have breathing issues) about to start and did not see Rupp coming... she jumped onto the infield at last second and Rupp did the same... they nearly collided and Rupp threw his hands up clearly not happy.
