I am doing 2 sets of intervals a week, one is 7x1km at 10km pace the other has been short hill repeats. I am training for a marathon in April so think I need some longer intervals.
2x5km seems like almost a threshold run, which is good I think, but I don't know what pace I should do them at.
5km pace would be impossible
10km pace would be damn hard
HM pace seems like the best bet
or do I need time at marathon pace?
Any better suggestions would also be welcome. I want to try some Mona Fartleks, but that is shorter stuff too.
