Anyone have video of the finish?

This is a step in the right direction, given that he ran a 66 minute half marathon in November.
Would have garnered Hall a 35th place finish at Houston this morning. Hoping he has one more strong peak in him before he gets much older.

Houston is arguably the fastest course in the United States and the depth there drug a bunch of those guys to faster times. I do think Hall would have struggled to finish top ten in Houston, but he would have run faster than 64 minutes.
But Ryan probably came in first in terms of appearance money!
Seriously - hope Ryan has a couple more real fast halfs or fulls in him over this year and next.

Yea but how much faster? 45 seconds? A minute?
This translates to a sub 204 marathon.

66 minutes?
You are thinking of Sara Hall.
Surely.
Nice race for Hall. very competitive 2nd place running for win. I had been having doubts about halls running but this has to be a huge step in the right direction. Starts, finishes, and COMPETES.
Ritz in his 2nd place Xc race, hall 2nd here, maybe Webb will hop in a race and shock himself with a surprise 2nd place finish somewhere.
Looks like he is on track with that slow tempo paced effort to get back to the good ole 2:04 times.
Go Ryan. May god be with you.
well done for finishing

You're unclear on the concept of champion, as the dictionary says, a champion is:
"a person who has defeated or surpassed all rivals in a competition, especially in sports.".
A 64 half bites. Dylan Wykes ran 2012 Phoenix solo in 62:38, his marathon PB is 2:10. Hall has a long way to go.
I'm thinking Ryan is going to need to get a real job soon.
No, not at all. wrote:

Reread my post. This was a good race because he competed down to the finish. Not a DNS, DNF, or DFL.

Ritz won his first place back and then went on to place 3rd a few days later, against a world-class field.
Ritz is back baby! wrote:

You're right.
Webb's time is now. The prophecy has come. The holy trinity of US distance, the RETURN of the BIG 3 this will usher in a new era of letsrun. The death of troll...
1:04's back to the norm for Hall. He's run many of those. Doesn't he think that getting his speed back is important? As an experienced marathoner, Hall at 59:43 again would be a non-aided 2:03-4 marathoner. I don't think that will ever happen again, unfortunately.

I can't tell if you're joking or an idiot. If Sara Hall ran 66 she would be one of the fastest women in history.
Obviously he was not talking about Sara Hall.
I was there!! Good to see him running again. He only beat me by..........12 minutes lol.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
