I'm currently training for a half marathon in a little over 2 months. I recently ran a 10k in about 46 minutes or 7:20 pace. It was a very strong effort (but not quite maximum).
I've run regularly over the last year, but now for the first time I'm following a real training program (intervals, regular runs and long runs) and stepping up the mileage a bit. I am going to run 4 or 5 times a week, 25 to 35 miles, because that's as much as I have the time and energy for currently. I think I can lose a little weight as well -- currently I'm 5'11 and 170 and looking to get down closer to 160.
What time is realistic for the half if I stick to this training program?
the terrain will be similar to the 10k. This will be my second half marathon.
