Interesting BUT- the Elites favorite would be the ones they get paid to wear.
I'd like to see what shoes the TRUE Blue Collar runners are wearing:
They're fast but not fast enough to get free shoes.
Most guys I know that are in the 2:14-2:25 range without shoe sponsorships race in either the Adios BOOST, NB1400, or Mizuno Hitogami
This is only about a sample size of around 15, but I'd say the overwhelming majority wears Adidas

I can back this up with another sample size of ~15. Overwhelming majority wears adidas.
