I am still in a state of deep depression over the break up of Crystal Castles. I just love their lo-fi dark yet dancy sound. Any suggestions about bands similar to them. Looking for something with the same experimental electronic, synth punk/pop, dream pop vibe.
Check out Death Grips. They also just broke up oddly enough. They're like the rap version of CC

Have you checked out Trust? He's doing some really great work, seen him perform live once (same as Crystal Castles.) It's a different vibe but still that dark electro pop sound, almost like a Berlin sex dungeon.
Austra is good too tho they are more poppy than Crystal Castles. They have a song called "Spellwork" that reminds me a little of "Celestica."
