Between Marietta and BW? BW, I think, far and away, is the better job. I think on paper, BW and Otterbein are the best jobs in the OAC.

Do schools interview/hire during academic breaks because christams is in a week and there are several openings still open to be filled by Jan!
A friend of mine is interviewing at Miami next week
University of Mississippi is talking to strong candidates with head coaching experience. Thought it was another BS rumor after their showing at conference in mens cc, but there's no schedule for this year on their site. Isn't it pretty late to not have a plan if you aren't on your way out the door?
I call BS.
O'Neal was just voted coach of he Year.
Administrators eat those things up.
As bad as things have been, he'll be safe.
My thoughts as well. Pretty reliable source though, not a guy who's usually full of sh_t. Why no schedule? Obviously not a guarantee a change is coming, but still pretty late in the year to not have a season planned. Our boosters would be upset if they didn't know where we were going yet. Were pretty fortunate to have the support we do. Cheers

Lack of spring schedule usually falls on Sports Information Dept, not the coach.
The Head Coach doesn't write on Athletic Department's website.
I would think the upcoming Peach Bowl currently ranks higher than the missing track schedule.
Anyone know anything about the Eastern Kentucky job? Are they really looking or it is going to be an inside the house hire?

Not a chance he is going anywhere during this year.
Both of you are correct. No moves this year,(2014) yes there was a very successful person in Oxford while the team was away. Nothing official yet, but if the offer is accepted there will be a lot of movement. I hope so, I'd like to see this guy back in the game. The SEC just keeps getting tougher. Bad news for Bulldog fans!!!

UCLA just demoted head women's coach John Henry Johnson to director of operations. So, it looks like UCLA is looking for another head women's coach and a male sprint coach. Things should get very interesting at my alma mater.

Wow, that is craziness! John Henry Johnson just got hired a year ago to replacement Jeanette Bolden. And now UCLA demotes him to director of ops. That smells fishy to me. There hasn't been enough time to evaluate whether Johnson can recruit and coach at UCLA. So, my guess is that he did something wrong and was demoted to director of ops. Does UCLA promote Joanna Hayes to head coach? How many coaches can the Bruins have on their staff. They already look to be over the limit.
If the guy was demoted its one of two things. Maybe he has a health problem, and its in his best interest to dial it down and have a more relaxed lifestyle……or he said something/did something that got his rear in trouble. Maybe he said something inappropriate to one of the athletes, or maybe there was a recruiting violation or something of that nature. Getting demoted to the DOP's positions just says Johnson had an issue, either personal or professional. Hope to find out since it does seem fishy.
Heard ohio university needs a new coach as well
Providence is in fact looking to hire a female. So are a few other programs. I guess these women will get lucky in 2015. UCONN most likely female as well.
This will be filled from with-in.
NAIA Montreat College has an asst coach position posted, sprints/hurdles/jumps. Decent pay. They don't have much of a track team but that's an awesome area to live.
Full-time Cross Country and Distance Position at Northwood - West Palm Beach Florida just being posted.
Is Yale hiring a throws coach?
