I thought I was the only one that forgets my temp thresholds.
As a 55 y.o. male in the Northeast, wind plays a big factor and whether there is sun, but my usual rules are;
45 - shorts and long sleeve (lightweight)
below 45 add lightweight pants (Sporthills)
below 40 use a heavier long sleeve, add gloves
below 35 use heavier pants,
below 30 add jacket, big sweatband to cover ears
below 25 heavier gloves,
below 20, add base shirt, possibly hat
For instance, this morning, around 38-40 F, sunny, I was in shorts (breaking my own rule) and it felt cold.
Another question, after 8+ months of mostly decent spring, summer and fall weather, who forgets what winter gear they have. If I don't look through all my stuff, I don't know what I have. While sifting through my stuff last week, found a couple of tops I completely forgot I had.
