Have you also considered that when you're 50, she'll be 62 and when you're 55, she'll be 67?

I think you need to consider all the data.

Don't think long term here. Just enjoy the sex with a mature woman. She's gonna look old real soon then it's time to move on.

Date young women while you can.. when you're 35 she'll be 47 and you could still be dating women in their 20's.

Another thing to consider is that if she wants to have kids she's going to have to start having them soon

when I was 30 I married a 43 year old woman

we've been married 18 years now, have a wonderful 16 year old son and a solid marriage.

it all works - I can't imagine spending a lifetime with any other person. So I am not complaining.

But there is some awkwardness - different age friends, different stages in life, diffenrent cultural references - but every marriage has some differences -our differences are less dramatic than most marriages I think.

Marrying an established, competent person has definite pros - she was all settled in her career, so I could find my own way a bit.

She is 61 now but seems in her 40s to me - she hasn't really aged.

Enjoy banging an older woman, but I wouldn't go for it long term. Her looks are going to start fading really soon.

I do have a colleague/friend who is 45 and married to a 60 year old woman. I was unaware of the age difference until I met her so it was definitely a big shocker. She looked OLD. A nice looking older woman, but I couldn't fathom being sexually attracted to her.

Never, ever deal with any woman older than 19. It just ain't worth it. Pump them then dump them the day they turn 20. Best advice you'll ever get.

At 23, there is zero reason for you to even be considering marriage (or a lifetime relationship). Stop worrying and enjoy the relationship and the sex with a mature, experienced woman (the latter of which is almost certainly better than any sex you'll have with a 20-something) while it lasts.

My girl is a school teacher so I think that naturally makes her act way younger and honestly all my friends think she's 28-30. So she definitely has great genetics.

What has your experience been though with body changes and her sexual desires (i'm assuming they are decreasing) where as yours are probably higher, how do you deal with that?

bro-han, this is where you may be (pleasantly) mistaken. her's will only get stronger for some time, perhaps even the next 15yrs. my last gf was 8yrs older than me (32 dating 40) and she demanded it at least once/day, if not more. crazy girl. the current one is nearly 50, looks 33, and also demands it daily. perhaps I'm just getting lucky, as my sample size is n=2, but women in their 30's & 40's don't shut down, they actually get better. looks are always going to fade at some point, it's called reality. if the relationship is awesome, hold on to it.

I am 41 and my girlfriend just turned 50. We have been together for 4 years. It works because I am kind of an old soul. Trust me. Your scenario will not work. First, it is on the edge even if the male were older. Second, you are simply too young. You might be especially mature and wise but I promise you will not want this commitment in 5 years. Enjoy your time together. But be realistic. Be fair to her and be brutally honest with yourself.
