Hey , Guys!
I posted earlier about my idea to start training in long jump instead of sprint (200m/400m) I have always liked jumping much more but I've never had an opportunity to do it. My current pb's are 56.0 and 25.1 and 5.98m in long jump. I have run 200m/400m many times, but long jump I have done only 2 times.
I think that with some training I have more potential in long jump. Now I have two months to prove it. I want to jump at least 6.5m or further. Has anybody got good training manual or tips on what to work on? I have looked up many videos and stuff like that , but that's very confusing ( all the - last three strides, leaning back , landing etc. ) I know that sprint/speed training is a must.
Any tips on what to work on to get maximum gains in short period of time? I know that there is lot of things to work on, but I just want to get it together as good as possible in 2 months time.
