What's your best winter running tip that's not common knowledge? Here's one from me.
If you get really cold feet, wrap the toe box in duct tape. Wrap it all the way around the sole of the shoe so the tape comes back and sticks to itself on top of the shoe. That way, it won't unwrap while you're running. Most running shoes are mesh, so cold air just blows through. You can feel the difference almost immediately. If you're concerned about the fashion police, use clear duct tape. You have to look closely to see it.
