I've raced bicycles off and on for 25 years. This year, the combination of my job and my two girls (11 and 14) may be too much to get in the amount of time it takes to train on the bike. I'd still like to compete and have thought about transitioning to running. I've been running 3-4 days a week just to get used to the change. I'm 44. Has anyone started competing in running in their 40s or made the switch from cycling to running? I would like to hear any advice anyone wants to throw out there.
Thanks
