I ran a time trial last week on the track with my team. My time was 4:46 in really good conditions. Not much wind at all and about 50 degrees. I was pretty happy because that was a big PR for me and I didn't feel that bad afterward. I ran 4:58 in May in a race.
In XC this year I had an okay season. I did summer running with my team and averaged about 30-35 miles per week. My PR in a two mile XC race was 10:29. My PR in a three mile race was 16:01.
The freshman track records are 4:39.5 for 1600 and 10:03 for 3200. Do you think with a good winter base I have a good chance at breaking these if I don't get injured? My coach is good so I will do what he says. I already eat really well and I sleep about 8 hours a night.
