Previously, they inducted Wang Junxia.
Marion Jones is the favorite for next year's induction.
Well... I'll tell you, I have a cool, death-metal guitarist & chillout music producing friend (male) and Marita Koch in "her" prime basically looked like a manlier version of him (light brown curls, nose, etc.). I always wondered whether I should show him the picture of Marita Koch and bring it up as a topic of conversation... And these female stars of the East German age, look at them post-menopause, no training anymore and no super secret "SauerKraut," and don't even try to tell me their manly (manlier than manly, in most cases) looks were "all-natural." A heroes' induction, with no questions asked, for these conspicuous characters, and a career of misery for Caster Semenya... oh well!
Might as well mention fellow inductee Heike Daute Drechsler as well. But the entire book of women's records is rife with the fraud of drug cheats. As a result the whole Hall of Fame business is pretty meaningless.
Drechsler never failed a drug test.
Koch never failed a drug test.
On what basis should they not be inducted into the Hall of Fame?
Based on rumors?
My guess is the OP is confusing her with Jarmila Kratochvílová.

She is the GOAT...why not in the HOF?

Why isn't she already in the hall of fame?
What changed to add her now?
Of the 20 fastest 400mt times ever run by a female, only one was in this century.
Koch herself has 4 of the 5 fastest times ever run and I doubt her world record of 47.60 will be broken for the next - can’t think of a suitable date.
The IAAF is such a joke. What is the point of going to such extreme measures to test for and punish drug cheats if they are just going to reward the biggest most blatant cheats of all time? Koch, Flo Jo, Krachtochvilova, Both the Chinese record holders would be the inaugural members for the drug cheats Hall of Shame, along with Marion Jones, who inexplicably still has some of her times recognized in the books.
When you are given a lifetime ban all of your career times need to go with you and be erased.
As for the pre-random testing cheats like Koch and Flo Jo, they are the main reasons they instituted random testing in the first place. Flo Jo suddenly retired at age 28 a week after random testing was announced.
Get this garbage out of here. Even baseball, with it's embarrassing history of drugs, doesn't let Bonds, McGwire, Clemens, et al in their Hall.
Shows just how poisoned the well is at the top.

"Drechsler never failed a drug test.
Koch never failed a drug test.

-see, Lance? this is why we can't have nice things.
Let's hear which HOF inductees you think were NOT dopers. Particularly from the 60's to the present.
"On what basis should they not be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

On the pre-approved LRC basis that they are not U.S. made blonde-waifs.
Common sense = U.S. white-boy cries of, "we cannot compete against the men of the world. We U.S. men hate-on women's running, but non-U.S. women must be hated-on also."
