I've always thought that I've been better at distance than short-mid distance. However, I've noticed that compared to my 1600 PR, my 5k PR is slower.
PRs:
800 - 2:28
1600 - 5:11
3200 - 11:38
5000 - 18:38
I used the McMillan running calculator, and according to my 1600 time, I should be running a low 18 5k, but according to my 5k time, I should be running a slower 1600, around 5:30.
Does this mean that I'm better at shorter distances than longer distances? This doesn't make any sense to me because my 800 time is also relatively slow compared to my other times.
