Can't remember HS. Probably 3.25 or thereabouts. College was 3.8. Salary $145K.
HS: 3.9 (and #1/~400--no weighting of grades at my school and no bonus for honors, etc., classes)
College (lower Ivy): 3.11 (including 14 credits of F)
[NB: at that time, the average GPA of graduates from the school was 2.xx]
Very approximately: $50k (but after 20+ years of college coaching, when I never made more than $30k in a year)
hs: 4.0+ (don't remember, but weighted aps brought it over 4)
college: 3.52
currently I work as a type of contractor for $13 an hour. No salary. Last year I made about 13500. Not by choice.
Looking for correlations... wrote:

Wtf? You'll need thousands of responses for this to be a meaningful analysis. You won't get that many. Also, different universities and schools have different approaches to grading. At Stanford, for example, you have to be dumb as a tree to get lower than a B in a class while at other universities there is very little grade inflation. Will you be taking that in to account? Really I imagine you want to see the distribution of GPA by institution to make any inferences. Also, could be useful to slice the data by field of study, etc. Eg, does a 4.0 latin major from Harvard make more than a 3.0 math major from Florida State?

Currently earn 125K, after 27 years in my career. Live in Midwest where 125K goes a little further than it might on either coast. First decade of my career, I paid for the running and beer drinking as an undergrad-but have now caught up to the honor students. The running and beer drinking were both worth the few thousand dollars a year I forfeited early on.

I draw 1 of 3 correlations:
1 - letsrun posters are ridiculously above the mean salary for the US
2 - letsrun posters are liars and exaggerators
3 - only the letsrun posters who are proud of their salaries or don't care that they make crap salaries reply to posts of this nature
