I've found the opposite unfortunately - and I am the radiohead type. The smartest people I know like the silliest music. Of course other people I know like radiohead and other music that I consider good. I guess I don't have great exposure to the average beyonce fan.

Do smart people listen to Radiohead, or does listening to Radiohead make you smart?

Radiohead is a band adored by hipsters and posers. They used to be somewhat relevant, but they haven't done anything interesting in years. Kinda like U2....they're ok, but no longer great, yet the know nothing posers rave about them because they don't really understand what good music is.

Comparing Radiohead to U2 is asinine. I will give you that Radiohead's King of Limbs album sucked, but if you are going to call In Rainbows bad music, I will fight you on the street.

What is it about the words "in years" that you don't understand. 'In Rainbows' was 7 years ago! Both bands are a shell of their former selves. Try to keep up.
