There's a problem that has been bothering me for a while! While I run on the treadmill, I get much more tired than I would if I ran outside. Say, I can run at 3:45/km at threshold pace for probably 30 minutes outside. Even at 4:20-4:15 at the treadmill it feels much heavier than 3:45 outside (even though the pulse and the lactic acid values are about the same). So does anybody else have that problem, that to run at the same speed as outside, it takes FAAAAR more energy?
Also, I've read that outdoor running is harder than indoor running, but I can't get that. Answers are being appreciated highly!
