The weather has let up, but the course will be sloppy for the premier races.

Thank you for the update, OP.
The course is fine. It really isn't that bad at all, a few wet spots but nothing bad and the sun is out and drying it up. Conditions will only get better for larger races.

It did end up like that.. Nobody who was around the prior 24 hours would've ever expected it to be runnable, really was a miraculous turnaround that resulted in pretty nice cool weather and only a moderately soft course
Yeah I was shocked how well the course absorbed the storms. They did cut out the worst corner from the course (normally run multiple times) making the race notably short.

I was wondering why the times seemed so fast for a soft day on the course...this makes a lot of sense. Always hated that corner anyways (assume it was the southwest 90 deg turn around the green)

Ah didn't know that because I couldn't actually make it; this would make it significantly short - I'd say the 23:30 guy still would've broken 24 though which is quite impressive for a short course
