Mo wins in 59:59 just ahead of Kigen. What a race!! Mo was under pressure for the last 5k but out kicks Kigen in the last 400m.

the race was an absolute sham.
Kigen was obviously faster and kept waiting for Mo.

Kigen does alot of pacing work for Mo and Rupp. Take what you want from that. Official time has been rounded up to 60:00.
1. Mo Farah-60:00
2. Mike Kigen-60:00
3. Stephen Kiprotich-61:35
A COMPLETE FIX WHAT A SHAM
did he colapse?
or go to hospital even?

When they finished they showed the Farah's time as 60:01, so it has been rather rounded down
So, Mo is in better shape now than he was last year after the WC.
yes, if he ran his last mile in 4:01

VID?
Actually, I don't even need a vid to know exactly what happened.
Kigen got a nice couple thousand to lead every step of the race but not race for the win.
Mo was running on home turf and is still psychological scarred from the marathon. We must make sure nobody beats him and all fields are "duck-certified" until Rio.
I can't stand the negativity towards the NOP on these boards. The race was fixed? Are you kidding me? It was a classic frontrunner/kicker battle. Kigen throwing in surges constantly throughout the race, hoping to break Mo. It's called a surge for a reason. He sped up, and when that didn't break Mo, he backed off, then tried again repeatedly. It wasn't him "letting Mo catch up", Mo simply wasn't going to break given the pace Kigen was running. As the race got closer to the end, it was clear Mo was gaining confidence, and he responded to the surges better. It is only my opinion, but I think Mo still doesn't feel as comfortable above the 10,000m distance. Maybe this will change over time, but in the meantime, we will just have to settle for having him be one of the all-time greats at 1500-10000, and not quite yet at 13.1/26.2.
You're seeing what you want to see. That Kigen kept waiting for Mo was obvious even to those not with a grudge against NOP.

He is not an all time great. He has no world records or even record attempts. He has not beaten anyone that is a great runner (unless they are injured or out of shape). He doesn't participate in the Diamond League. He avoids competition.
Never bite the hand that feeds you.

Except the olympics and world championships. He won those.

Right. There is no way that he's an all time great. He doesn't even hold one WR. Try getting a few of those first.

Those don't count, OBVIOUSLY.

To be considered an "all-time great" you have to be successful in at least two areas of distance running: "times" and "titles".
So far, Mo Farah was very successful in the 2nd (but also just very late in his career). But 5 golds and a silver out of three global championships is very special (also I'm still a little bit astonished how his competitors have "allowed" this).
But so far he was not successful at all in the 1st. Position 6 is the best which he ever has had on an all-time list. That's not what I expect from an all-time great.
Just for comparison: Haile Gebrselassie has reached position 1 over 5000m, 10000m, Half-Marathon and Marathon as well as position 2 over 3000m.
That Farah definitely can run faster over 5000m and 10000m than he has is unimportant for the question: he has to do it.
So far he is not an all-time great, without any question. Even his great 1500m PB and his Marathon performance can't change this. To me, his career is one of the most curious in distance running which I know about.

Try actually reading my post before you respond to it next time.

I did. It was stupid.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
