Seriously. Who is her agent?
Here is an article with a look at the other Olympians that have been on the show.

Lolo Jones' is joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars. Thoughts? Athletes generally do pretty well on this show - any chance for a victory?
Track Lolo or the the thicker bobsled version?
An utter attention whore. I bet Lolo will fake an injury and beg for everyone to garner her attention again. After London, and Beijing, I completely lost all hope for this woman. She has literally gone off the deep end. She takes away media coverage from deserving athletes and has yet to win any prestige races. From her twitter rants, to where she bashed that crippled football player, this woman needs to be stopped. It's a shame the media and society feed off her bull.
*NOTE TO LOLO JONES*
-please leave the track and field world alone. you had your chance, you messed up, now be a gracious loser and GO HOME!
Oh, do shut up. Nobody believes your nonsense, probably not even you!
Are you really itching for some media coverage of Harper or Wells or Pearson??? And you might even believe that Lolo is somehow causing them to be ignored? You can't be that dumb.
More proof that attractive women in this country can get pretty much do anything they want with marginal talent.
She has no chance to win. Voters on reality shows are provably racist. She is partnered with the first black pro dancer on DWTS. She may make it far, but she will not win.

Past winners include Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward, Donald Driver, and Amber Riley. All black celebrities, three being football players and one an actress from Glee. I don't think this has much merit.
I think she has a chance to do really well. She knows how to play to publicity game, which helps a lot for winning. Being a hurdler, I would guess she has pretty good coordination that would lend itself to dancing well.
She'll last on the show longer than Tommy Chong, who's 75 and high.

Thankfully, not everyone agrees with you.

I wonder who this moron Seymour Butz is? I doubt women are on this site, and I doubt male sprinters are on this site.
Lolo continues to keep track on the map in the US. Non track people LOVE her and that is good enough for me. People come to see her when she runs and that is great for the sport. She's not bad on the eyes, either.
If anyone needs to go home, Mr Butz, it is you.
LOLO is such a attention whore. What a joke she and this publicity stunt it. I hope she falls flat on her whiny butt. I can't wait to see her fail. I've been rooting against her for years. go everybody else

Seems I remember her saying something about having a separate 'marketing person' from her track/athletic agent. I'm sure they have to work together though.
It was in an article shortly after some of the uproar over her celebrity status. She basically said she is getting attention because someone was getting paid to market her and they were good at their job and she didn't understand why other athletes didn't do the same.
LoLo is 32. She will probably retire after 2016, if not sooner. Why not strike while the iron is hot and get as much money as she can before her career is over? It would actually be stupid for her to turn down the opportunity considering the money and media exposure involved. It is good for T&F, too. People might actually watch a track meet or two if the athletes had more mainstream media exposure.

Guess you have a different perspective.
I see someone taking advantage of all the opportunities that are available to her in her short window of fame.
She's grabbing every experience she can get, and losers like you criticize her for doing it.
She's more talented and accomplished than 99.99% of the runners out there will ever be and you aren't even in the same solar system.
Let me guess, you'd like her more if she "kept it real" ran ever small meet she could, got a dead end job and lived with her parents...you know, "Blue Collar"....right?
Buncha idjits on this board. Who would not want to see Lolo Jones in one of those ballroom dancing outfits? Lolo is GREAT for the sport.
Great for T&F she is on the show.
No way in the world she wins against CARLTON BANKS though!
