He comes from a family of runners. His grandfather ran for Washington State and was fourth in the NCAA 5000 in 1952. His mom ran at Houston. His dad at Arizona State.

Yep. Did you see in there that he ran 4:30 as a freshman on 15 mpw. Sick.
With Ritz, Solinsky, Teg old and Rupp soon to be old, I was worried who I'd have to cheer during the next decade. I was starting to fear the 2020 were going to be like 1995 to 2005 - a graveyard.

Has anyone thought he might continue to do both? Why not continue playing soccer in college?
Talent does go away right?
Let's face it running can be a grind and isn't as exciting as soccer. Would it hurt his potential at 28 if he's not a full-time guy at 20?
