Stunned by U Colorado Buff's mediocre recruiting class

Maybe they are undertrained HS runners with a little meat left on the bone to improve. Not the next Ritz.

Some years you have money for scholarships, other years you don't. I suspect this is one of those 'lean' scholarship years.

There could be elite recruits that are turned off by the recent lack of great Track distance times and scoring in the big meets.

Well according to their interview on the website they had no scholarship to give this year.....

CU is academically brutal. No wonder they can't get kids to show. CU is known for astronauts, NASA contacts, and STEM R&D. Overall the academics at PACADEMIC-9 campuses are suicide. Even at the four white public PACADEMIC-9 schools (ASU, UA, Utah, CU) so what if you had a 4.0 HS GPA with every AP class. That won't get you past the 1st mid-term unless you have the material down in the summer before the term begins. Literally the PACADEMIC-9 is that hard. At least at private South Central U & U of Stansucks you have peers watching your every move. But at the publics you are own your own. That at 18, with hormones raging, 1st time away from home. Bottom line if you aren't mature enough at the publics like CU, to study on your own, you are gone in the 1st term.

Competing with Stanford's high quality recruits is rarely an issue because they always under perform. Oregon is usually pretty good though. Colorado will be fine.

CU does OK considering that the runners have to be real students, unlike at eugene clown kollege. And that they don't recruit age cheating kenyan grampas, like at eugene clown kollege. And that they don't use the NOPe dope, centro sauce and oregon juice, unlike at eugene clown kollege.

Rumor has it that Ches stumbled upon a vial of centro sauce before ncaa XC last year. The rest is history. Only imagine if he had Ramzi raisins too?!?

LOL, CU is not brutal academically by any means. I've lived across the street from the school for 2 years and several of my friends go there.

Very true. No other conference in America has the research accomplishments and notable faculty that the PAC-12 has.

damn, if ASU and CU are that academically tough- wonder how smart those stanford/berkeley/ucla kids are!

Sara Sutherland will be another immediate impact to their Pac 12 and NCAA team. Sara will strive to improve on her 6K time of 20:10 and 5k on the track in 15:53.

Grampa ches "stumbled" upon (sleazy gave it to him) a vial of centro sauce. Ramzi raisins, unlike NOPe dope, centro sauce and oregon juice were not developed by nike pharma and thus are not rupp certified.

Wetmore is a great coach. I have seen him take

10 minute miler and turn them into a sub 15 minute 5K, so don't worry...
