I'm not. The winner was running 14:35 and he was well clear of 3rd place, no reason to push it.

I'm surprised he couldn't win the race. 14:35 is slower than his 10000m PB pace. Low humidity in Kamloops so conditions aren't bad.

And the other guy was doubling too (from the 1500m).

3 athletes in some events?!! Not all that well attended, and not exactly the cream of the NCAA crop, with a few exceptions (a few good sprint times). No depth to any event.

Really though, this is like NACAC XC, does anyone really care? Except Canada - who seem to relish in the medals (not that tough when the US doesn't care and you can only only attract 3 entries).

Some events are pretty bad. However, how about a very solid 38.47 for a USA win over Jamaica in the 4 x 100m? That's few tenths faster than the NCAA winning time:
