Why are there so many good white sprinters in Europe but not the USA? (Serious)

Because the fast white guys in the US would rather try and be a WR in the NFL and make league minimum.

Yet there are very few white WR and no shortage of fast white footballers in Europe...

It's hard keeping even semi-promising white kids engaged in the sport of track & field, despite access to awesome coaches.

Yeah, that's because it's soccer and they have to move around. That's my point. Culture difference.

Compare what 10.1 can do for you at most European countries to what 10.1 would do for you as an American.

Maybe because 10.05 will never get you anywhere in the US.

There are no good sprint coaches...anywhere. The discipline is ruled by hacks.

Jamaican and American sprinters -- along with a few from the other Caribbean Islands -- all of them black, dominate sprinting.

The Borlee's are semitic like Maurice Greene, Allyson Felix, Ryan Wilson, Brenda Nartinez, Matt Centrowitz Jr, Cam Levins, LoLo Jones, and so forth. Semites are considered white in Mexico, Africa, Middle East, and in the USA in the black and White Hispanic communities.

Ramil Guliyev, David Gillick, Maslák, Borlee, a few white Brazillians have even made finals recently in which many Americans did not reach the finals

Europe is better at developing sprinters (and athletics in general). The best white Europeans are better than the best white Americans, and the best black Europeans are better than the best black Americans PER CAPITA - the difference is there are a lot more black people in the US than in Europe.

There are about 30 million black Americans. There are only 2 million in France and another 2 million in the UK, yet they can produce just as much depth in sprinting.

Actually Ryan Bailey is half white. Mom is 100% white. Whites with speed in US typically in soccer, baseball, football and if in track typically geared toward non sprint areas often like hurdles or long sprints like Wariner.

Europe is better at developing talent in ALL sports, including ones like basketball. An All-Europe team would beat a USA "dream team" if there were such a tournament. The academy system in Europe is VASTLY superior to the NCAA at spotting and developing young talent. In America top young basketball players have to BS their way around the NCAA "20 hours/week" limit while simultaneously BSing their way towards a joke bachelor's degree. In Europe any young player can be recruited to join an academy where they can be paid play basketball for 8 hours a day. As a result, they produce much more well-rounded players.

The exception, the ONE and ONLY exception to this is track and field, since you can only train for it for 2-3 hours a day anyways and you don't need to be on a great team to seek out great competition. But as we've seen Europeans have much more interest in it and that is why they produce more good athletes.

This is why there hasn't been a world class 100 meter sprinter in about 50 years. Some decent domestic level sprinters like John Woods have effectively defected to Australia because they can't make a national team. I guess it's no different than Mark Jelks defecting to Nigeria
