Interested in people's thoughts on this list that Sports Illustrated compiled.

Highlights include Meb at 46, Rich Froning at 33, Ashton Eaton at 19, and Bolt at 3.
I'm curious as to how they calculated the endurance aspect, considering that Bolt is given 9/10 in that category, which seems laughable. Still an interesting list.
I'm curious how they rate Aston Eaton a "6" in the speed category. Apparently he has almost as much speed as Rich Froning at "6.5".

They didn't "calculate" anything. It's just a list of high-profile players.
This is a joke. James couldn't even make it through a game when the air conditioning went out. He should be scored closer to a 4 or 5 on endurance.

They didn't "calculate" anything -- this is a subjective ranking masquerading as an objective one.
For example, how does rock climber Chris Sharma rate only 3/10 in agility -- the lowest score among any of the fifty athletes!?

Lebron is a 10 in everything. In other words, he has more endurance than Chris Froome and more speed than Marquise Goodwin (10.24 100).

These ranking people love theoretical speed, game sped, "world class" speed, leg speed, etc. They aren't that fond of speed measured on a real track with a real starter gun and a real timing system. Otherwise, AE's 10.21 would place him in the top three to five.

Ashton Eaton couldn't play a 48 minute NBA basketball game and Marquise Goodwin couldn't run Lebron down to do a come from behind block, guarantee it.
It's also far too US-centric to have any credibility. no rugby players? No road cycling sprinters?
Makes sense the number of NFL players. You have to be an amazingly conditioned athlete to play that game at that level. Still, I would Coburn somewhere on the list. That girl is bringing it.
