Oh no!
This is bad. This is bad.
Just when Botswana was coming up with athletes like her and that Makwala guy.
So she basically failed a test for something that's no more stronger than caffeine
You're an idiot! So every female who looks masculine is doping? I know women personally who are not athletes and they have similar body types as montsho are they doping? I'm not saying that she's not doping (beyond stimulants) but you can't use her lack of feminine looks as a reason to find her guilty.
Nijel Amos almost 100% certainly clean. Not like going from 1.47.2 to 1.41.7 at the age of "18" is suspicious of anything. Or the fact he has atrocious running form yet still runs as fast as he does....

I see the connection you made there, Columbo. So when Gay tested positive the whole USA track and field team was almost 100% clean.

You know women who have bodies like Montsho's and they are not athletic? Tell them to start competing because they are wasting their talents in the knitting circle.
True, but USA and Botswana are not exactly analogous. Jamaica and Botswana might be more comparable in the sense that in each country there is a very small # of elite runners who often share "supplements." And of course numerous Jamaicans tested positive for those same supplements last year, having shared use of them. In fact, track in Botswana involves a much smaller # of athletes--it wouldn't be a stretch but I am not going to cast any aspersions on other athletes until there is any non-performance reason to do so.

Amos running form is ragged. Reminds me of Mark (?) from U. Florida back in the 1990's.
Everett. ran that way because of a broken arm, and training with a cast. great guy.
She tested positive for Methylhexaneamine which is a stimulant banned in competition only. It's what Mike Rogers was busted for from the "supplement " Jack3d. A ton of athletes from other sports like swimming have also been busted for it.
It's a stimulant not a steroid and it wouldn't make women look "manly."
just being doing some research on this and read that it can be listed as 'geranium oil' in some supplements, does anyone know how much truth there is to this? thank you.
I see the connection you made there, President of the "Advocates of Botswana" society.
Would you really like to make a bet on the legitimacy of the contempories of Tyson Gay - names such as LaShawn Merrit, Justin Gatlin, Michael Rodgers just to name a few?
Actually no, I don't think there is any connection on a country level I just believe that Nijel Amos is so comically and obviously juiced up it defies belief yet clowns on these boards think he is nearing in GOAT status.

Anyone who has ever raced 400 knows that anyone who comes on like gangbusters at the end--like Montsho--is immediately suspect of something illegal. The race just doesn't work like that if you're clean. Same thing applied to 800.
I Saw dozens of Montsho's raíces. Her main problem was, ironically, the last 50 meters
So sad. She and Alysson Felix are personal favourites of mine. Hope there's a good explanation for this.

horsesh1t
I don't give a rip who uses methylhexaneamine. It's just a token banned substance that WADA uses to look busy. They bust people for chicken-shit little offenses and leave the real dopers alone, who pay them big bribes most likely.
Pretty much any new drug will result in sensationalist claims about effects on performance and health risks. WADA drools over new drugs and won't miss any excuse to ban them, unless they were developed by major corporate sponsors.

What are you trying to say?
