trying to follow the Women's LJ qualification this morning has been ludicrous. They only have a 'Q' next to those who got the automatic qualifying (not many) so the only way of establishing who the other finalists are is to go into each separate pool results and count down to the 12th furthest jump between the two. Not rocket science, admittedly, but you would think at the very least they'd put the 'q's in (this is about an hour after qualification finished). Ridiculous

I agree it's pretty bad but letsrun isn't exactly a website of pinnacle design.

It's easy to use, that's not the issue. It's that it leaves out (very) important information.

Compare Pool B of this morning's Women's LJ from the BBC site to that of the official site. Only automatic qualifiers listed (same with 800m heats that Rojo refers to). Basic stuff, ridiculous that it's not there. In fact Pool A is even worse, as there were no automatic qualifiers at 6.55m+ so no Q or q listed at all.

really? I'm in the UK too and this is what I get when I look up the 800m Heat 1 result on the official site. Learmonth and McBride are on the start list for the semis, so should obviously be marked as 'q' but aren't

whatever you think of letsrun (although personally I think that's totally irrelevant to the point that's being made here), they are completely right. The official site is sub standard

If you go to the website, click on schedule, then click on athletics it lists all of the athletics events each day.
