Alright so which race do you think looks tougher? I'm going to have to say the second race is more stacked with
BYU
CSU
FSU
IOWA
Michigan
Montana State
NC state
NAU
Notre Dame
Oregon
Stanford
Tennessee
Villinova
Oh yeah, the second one is stacked.

Well the Blue race is pretty stacked also with;
Air Force
Arizona State
Butler
Cal Poly
Colorado
Georgetown
Georgia
Indiana
Iona
Miami Ohio
William & Mary
But I'm still saying that the white race is tougher.
Rohatinsky vs Cheseret should be good. Word is that Hall is injured again. No word on Willis?
geezus iona sure has it easy
Willis is listed on the team entries, whether he runs or not remains to be seen. If not, that would leave Big Tens as his debut.
I think i\'d rather be in the blue race to qualify for nats. W&M, Georgia, Kansas, Florida, A&M, and Clemson all look like opportunities for points. In the white race you have FSU and Iowa, then the rest of the lower ranked teams are all in tough regions.
Texas Tech has a very solid Kenyan (new guy - Haron Lagat) who is just learning how to race. May not win the race, but will open some eyes thei weekend. My pick for Big XII champ seeing that Nelson is out.
Tech is in the White Race. Team sucks (as usual), but watch for Lagat.
Could be a long day for Iowa
How's that ACC preview of FSU vs. NC State... pretty nice.
It will be interesting to see how the West Virginia mens team does in the white race, all the old guys are in that one.
Sabatino, devault and Lukowski from Tennessee
Pettit and Watson from Colorado State
Josh and Justin Simpson from NAU
Blue race is tougher in my opinion.
Of the top 50 teams according to the usccca...
BLUE - 4,5,7,10,11,13,15,20,22,23,26,28,29,31,37,40,41,45,46,47
WHITE - 2,5,8,9,12,14,18,21,24,25,27,32,33,35,38,39,42,43,44

My money says that CU wins their race. They looked good in their opener and this race is a hell of a lot bigger than a CU Western Duel.....I say CU all the way
With Brown and Cornell in the "White" its obviously the tougher race.
Oh yeah and Central Michigan isn't in that race or anything. No respect.

Just an opinion but I don't think many teams will be picking up points from W&M. This team is as deep as just about any in the country. They haven't really run a full squad yet. I also don't think clemson will be helpful. They look to be 3rd at best in the SE region (behind NC state and W&M) so they are going to pre nats for points. Therefore the only way people will get points off them is if they beat the teams Clemson beats to get into nationals.
In response to Lone Star - I don't think FSU vs NC state will be much of a matchup. State should be a much stronger team (and if they aren't you have to wonder if some of the redshirting freshmen will be appearing in uniform soon).
It's never easy when you run against CU!

SICK!
Just found this if anyone's interested, names of the men and women on each of the teams:

Why not run the top 25 in one race and the rest in another race? Is it the coach-centered fear of going head to head with other ranked teams that prevents this?
I personally think it would be very cool to see the head to head progression between October and November. In my opinion it would show which programs are advancing their fitness properly (amongst other things).
