It would be interesting to find out if it's more or less than 1%.

inb4 40% of Letsrunners are 1%
btw 400k+ for an individual is probably top ~0.75%, not 1.0
Age: 29
Salary: 100k + options (~30k net value per year)
Occupation: Aerospace Engineer
Why would anyone state their net worth on the internet where your ISP can be tracked?
99% of LetsRun readers are in the top 1%.
Majority here make $1M+, pack 9"+, ran a 13:30 5K, and are married to a supermodel wife.
Yes. 32 + Business Exec
400k puts you in the bottom 3% of LR posters.
Yep I'm in, 500K if you count stock options.
Specialist Surgeon. Just over 400K, I barely make the cut.
Definitely not me! I'm between jobs right now (i.e., lost my last job). Made $55K the previous year. Just turns 27.

That depends. My sources told me $400k might be too low for the US.

Congratulations! You barely squeaked over the bottom 10% bar.
Most likely 1%.
I've known 2 1%'rs in my life, most miserably unhappy people i've ever seen!
Age: 36
Salary: $750,000 plus options
Occupation: VP at a Fortune 500 company

You're right, money isn't everything. That's why the typical LetsRunner also has a sub-14 5K PR and a smoking hot Italian wife.
Wow is 400k really all you need to be a 1%er? I do not consider those people to be in the same social class as me. I'm going to start referring to myself as a .1%er so i don't get lumped together with those people. I can't even imagine budgeting to live on 400k.
