This is ridiculous. She was the most blatant doper in the history of all sports. I'm sorry if that fact makes all you little fanboys butthurt, but she was filthier than a pig sty.

What are you talking about? Her PB's in other races don't match up with her Marathon PB. For most runners going up in distance, they typically are not aerobically developed as the distance increases; so until they put in the distance training, their PB's at the longer distances don't lineup with their shorter race PB's. This was the whole premise of HADD training.
Now there are a few distance-trained athletes that lack foot speed for shorter races, and their marathon time will be somewhat stronger (projection wise) than for example, their 10K. Radcliffe's 2:15 was very unusual in that it was significantly stronger than her half, 10K or 5k PB's. A 2:15:25 marathon equates to the following:
Half-marathon....1:04:21
10k.......................28:52
5k.........................13:54
3000m....................7:55.
It wasn't until this thread that I actually spent some time and looked into any of this regarding Radcliffe. It is an anomaly for sure.
I was the one who wrote that 'her marathon training filled out her aerobic potential'. e.g. It was the 150 mile weeks that let her chip 15 and 25 seconds off of her 5000 and 10k marks.
Her other PBs don't line up because she was a long distance runner. The track event were too short for her to best her rivals. She needed to push the finish line back in order to beat them.

That sounds kind of cutesy, but it's blowing smoke, without any weight behind it. Look at her non-"track event" half marathon PB, for example. It looks very unusual for a professional distance trained athletes to have their PB's of the shorter distances so far out of line (assuming they actively trained for those distances when the PB's were set).
"Radcliffe's 2:15 was very unusual in that it was significantly stronger than her half, 10K or 5k PB's."
That´s was not SO unusual in the past : Rob DE CASTELLA or Derek CLAYTON has marathon PBs even stronger than RADCLIFFE compared to 10000m PB. Question of muscular profile (they were all VERY slow twitched) and of training (more aerobically oriented than speed oriented).
Kara Goucher is one of 7 women living in the United States including Deena Kastor, Kim Smith, Shalane Flanagan, Betsy Saina, Sally Kipyego and Molly Huddle to have run a 10 km race under 31 minutes. Only 71 women have ever run under 31 minutes.

that means her training was all wrong for the previous 10 years when she was focussed on the track
her 5/10 times suddenly dropped when she upped the mileage for the road
maybe so, and would explain her improvement in the early 00s assuming there wasn't something more sinister going on
Agree.
People who continually get outkicked in shorter races are going to be great marathoners. Everyone was saying she'd be a phenomenal marathoner before she stepped up.
Paula was just a female version Charlie Spedding, or Ian Thompson.
Thompson ran 2:09 off 29 minute 10K speed, that's even more ridiculous - are we saying he doped too? That's laughable.
Antonio you are stupid. Seus argumentos sao ridiculos. Todo mundo sabe a diferenca entre world best e world record menos o senhor.... por favor cala sua boca e leva seus argumentos de merda pra outro lugar.
