GC guys dropping like flies today. Seems like Tejay's podium chances just slipped away.
Michael Rodgers gives Saxo their 2nd stage win after Contador's exit.
I'm surprised Europcar couldn't find a way to launch Voeckler before the summit. Once they hit the downhill together, Rogers was better than even odds to win.
Nice to see the French doing so well on GC in this years Tour. Pinot is riding very well.
BMC has a rider in the break. Will Tejay try and bridge over on the Hautocan?
I really hope he is feeling well enough to at least go for it.
BMC is up to something. No reason to help Astana ride tempo otherwise.
Horner! Go old man, go!
Chris Horner attacks, Nibali marks with no hesitation. If he wins today he will have 4 wins, the most by a yellow jersey since Bernard Hinault.
Nibali is such a beast this year. Using the "best defense is a good offense" method of protecting his jersey.
Le Tour is over and Nibali takes it. What a stage today!
It would take both a phenomenal TT from Tejay (certainly possible) AND multiple guys ahead of him tanking on the time trial (not so likely) for him to snatch a podium spot. I think he will fall just short. The crash in the last 20k of a flat stage where he lost a minute to all the other GC contenders really burns now (as does the bonk 2 days ago in the mountains).
The ITT on Saturday could shuffle places 2-5 around a little bit, but Nibali would have to have a race-ending crash to not win the overall.
Eventually , Bernard Hinault changes his clothes .

La Vie Claire - oh man, that sure takes me back. Bernard Tapie, the Donald Trump of France. I actually read Gagner! - ouff.
p.s. see http://www.amazon.fr/Gagner-Bernard-Tapie/dp/2221047842 for the cover of the edition I read when the book came out in the mid 1980s + http://www.amazon.fr/Gagner-Bernard-Tapie/dp/2253043141 for the [much less Donald Trump like] cover of the subsequent mass market paperback edition.

Well I hope I made you laugh ! He has worn the same shirt and pants throughout the Tour on the Victor Podiums .
Aside , Lemond can rue history . Roche could have won more with a better team than Carrera .
