We believe in letting the racing decide it. Since Rowbury ended up 2nd, we don't want there to be a DQ but that was quite an incredible last 100.

We thought Rowbury was smart to shut down lane 1 but once you do that, you can then shut down lane 2 and 3.

Agree, BIG weave by Rowbury. But never really impeded Huddle, mainly because of Huddle's quick reaction.

Hall still ran a 15:12 PR, and Cuffe 15:13... good runs for both of them.

Very classless move by Rowbury, you can see her look to her right and cut in right away and all of a sudden she looks to her left and she cuts over right away. In her mind the goal was to cut her off and whether she won or lost she deserves to be DQ'd.

Why would she get DQ'd? There's no one to protest it. The only person she possibly interfered was Huddle, but she won anyway so she obviously won't protest it.

If it were up to LR to ask any questions about this, it would so something like, "Shannon, it was obvious to everyone that you tried to cut off Huddle twice in the homestretch. Was that something you and Alberto talked about doing if the need arose, or did you take it upon yourself to bend the rules?" Then, after Rowbury brushed it off, LR would pride itself on its no-holds-barred "journalism" despite its having gotten them precisely nowhere, because, well, they ask the questions no one else dares to!!!! And in the meantime an actual journalist would file a meaningful story for literate and educated people, having asked the same basic question, but tactfully.

Some sort of penalty should still be imposed, even if it's a permanent asterisk in the official results saying that Alberto Sleazyczar's athlete tried to cheat and still got beat.

Well the blatantly big difference is that Christin gave Shannon a BIG shove just before the finish line

There was no contact in the 5k last night

And BTW - Shannon did not file a petition to DQ Christin in that race
