Look up "Ivy League".
Wake Forest University?
Ohio State?
Sorry, the whole post didn't come out for some reason.
I added how I didn't want a school like Stanford or Columbia (great team and academics), but also not Oregon (great team, poor athletics).
I want a school that isn't huge, less than 10,000, preferably less than 6 or 7,000. That isn't impossible to get into, but has pretty good academics. The Haverford of D1, if you will.
Oregon has poor athletics?
I believe he means academics
Bucknell, Lafayette College, Davidson College, College of the Holy Cross, U Portland, Providence College. That's a few, not all are "small" by all standards but they're a lot smaller than peer d1 schools.
Butler is a nice small school. Decent athletics and academics.
William & Mary. Competitive admissions though.
Several of the West Coast Conference schools like Santa Clara, Portland, Gonzaga, etc.

I assume you mean "academics".
With that said, what do you mean Oregon has poor academics? Based on what? You haven't even defined what good academics means to you.
Jacksonville University. 9 straight in & out women's titles.
Coach Griggs is a wizard with sprints, hurdles and jumps.
if you are a female, VANDERBILT
When I went to Davidson it was the smallest D-1 school. It has since increased enrollment but is still under 2000 students total. It also has a great aid program which ensures that no student has to take out student loans. It is also strong academically. The program has been improving, especially for mid-distance and distance on the men's side. Coach Andrew is retiring after nearly 30 years and what effect this will have on the program is unclear.
Bucknell
Please learn to use Google so other people don't have to waste their time using it for you. This list took 1 minute to generate and there are lots more options.
