Our preview of the men's 800 at 2014 USAs is now up.
With no Nick Symmonds, does Duane Solomon come through as the favorite or does an upstart like Elijah Greer earn his first USA title?
We think there will be an upset.
What do you think?

Letsrun, just wondering, how come you guys post an article link on your homepage, and it takes us to a thread with a direct link to the article? Just so people start a discussion on a thread?
Greer has an excellent chance for the win.
Very interested to see what the DII guy Windle can bring to the table. This will first time in a couple of years that he will run an 800m against people better than he is.

I'm also excited to see him run against the big boys, but in not expecting much. My guess is that he isn't used to his track seasons lasting 6 months, and he might be a little worn down at this point.
I think he'll be a big factor in the next few years when he gets out of the college schedule and can tailor his training for the summer season.
who cares? Unless this guy gets down to 1:45+ in the next two seasons I don't give a crap.Eagler wrote:

Windle and Cazzola are interesting sideplots this year, kind of like the HS girl phenoms.
Greer has a competitive fire that is rare. Hate to write it even, but yeah, Pre-like.
