Hey letsrun. I'm an avid statistician but I've only been so for a few weeks. After watching Austin Tamagno's 4:06 mile today, I searched for the sophomore class record, and eventually found an old Track and Field News thread. Searching for other class records hasn't gone as well. Is there a centralized place where I can see all the records for each class? I'm sure there is, but I'm not adept enough with a computer to find it.

Dyestat used to list class records for every event covering nationals... they still do(here's the link to Outdoors, you should be able to find indoors through google):

you won't find the 300h records on that page, but for guys i think reggie wyatt has all the class records
Those are certainly of some help but there is both a lack of consistency and a lack of care in how metric conversions are treated.
As one example, Hasay is shown as the junior class 2 mile record holder at 9:52.13. She actually ran that time for 3200m.
In addition to this kind of flat out mistake, there is just an overall randomness in whether metric conversions are or are not included in the mile/2 mile marks for each class.

It states that she ran it for the 3200m, and it also lists the 2 mile record.

OK but why list both yards and meters for junior class and not list Mortensen's 9:48m for senior class? Where's the consistency?
because mortensen's 9:48m isn't better than cuffie's 9:54y.

Two rather odd comments given that 9:48m is obviously superior to 9:54y and I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing you this or any Tuesday. But perhaps they make sense in another dimension.

anyways the reason they don't list 9:48 as the record is bc metric times aren't up for national records so they don't list anything against Cuffe's time bc that would be confusing, so they'll list it if it is superior as class record but not a national record... kinda wonky but thats how they do it. take issue with TF news not me over the list.

I don't know why Mortensen's mark isn't listed. It looks like all the other relevant yard/metric marks are included (sans 3k/1500m records).
They SHOULD list both Mortensen's 9:48 and Cuffe's 9:54 (well, now Knights 9:53).
Not sure why they have those mile marks listed, though. Cain and Efraimson have both run faster outdoors, and both have run even faster indoors. And if they were concerned about it being in professional races or from a professional runner, why would they include Cain's 800m from last year?
Yes I noticed the sketchiness of the girls' mile marks as well.
Rupp's 13:37 is there, which would suggest they are picking up times through the summer but, again I don't see a consistent pattern.
