Just took 10 days off from track season. Ran as much as i could today which was 1 mile because my knees were in so much pain. Couldnt run any longer. Can anyone tell me what this may be? I have pain in the middle of knee and the joints around it.

Being a high school runner, I also occasionally had this same problem of knee pain after breaks. It wasn't that bad for me, and I generally just ran through it, maybe on a softer surface. It never escalated from that, and the pain subsided in a few days. I'm not sure if you have the same thing as I had. I also have no idea what it is called, if it even has a name.
Okay thanks but idk it might be growth plate issues but im still not sure.
This is why you shouldn't take 10 consecutive days completely off. You need to keep running enough so that you don't allow yourself to tighten up or change the way run. You can get plenty of rest with daily 1 mile jogs and a couple strides.
Totally normal, should go away with a few runs.
