Don't get me wrong, I like Wetmore and the Buffs, but they were really off.
Hurysz and Saarel looked like they were wearing weight vest.
As for Theroux, he never responded, started in the back and stayed there.
I thought they would do better coming down from altitude, but they looked the opposite.

If they are saving for XC, then why embarrass themselves on the track?
I think it is great they are the best XC team, but in the past they were also great on the track.
I would just like to hear why they underperformed?
If this was a basketball team there would be a press conference after and Wetmore would explain.
I am not trying to bash them, we know Blake, Jake and Ben gave their best, but that did not look good.
They were bringing up the rear at regionals too. Not a good few weeks for them. Bosshard ran well though.
