Mile's too long try 1km repeats.
None are better. they all have their place
Agree that all have their place.
I find that repeats between 3-5 minutes each work the best for me, somewhere between 3k to slightly faster than 5k race effort. Unless you race slower, 800s are a little shorter than ideal for me, and miles are a little on the long side for anybody slower than about a 15:42 5k.
