Well, he is a few older than he claims to be, so who knows else is bs about him.

Yo, that was tight.
The guy is bad a#s.
The guy is a stud. 1:41 at age 18? Even if you don't buy the age, it was his first year on the circuit and almost his first non junior race.
Post race interview with him here.
He hopes to take down Rudisha again whe Rudisha is 100% on top of his game.

The 800 is ridiculously entertaining this year. Hope Rudisha can get back to form and these guys get into the 1:41s again.
I have Nijel Amos on DL fantasy. AMAZING runner, not a hyped age-liar/doper. 2-4 against Aman, 1-1 against Rudisha
Cant wait to see Yeimer Lopez run against these guys. 1.44 solo last 300m versus 1.43.6 in a field with great opponents. It will be close.
The only people to have run faster are Rudisha and Kipketer.
He took down Rudisha in his first race back after a year of injury...not sure that's quite the same as taking him down in London.
LOL. I think headlines like "Amos takes down Rudisha" are both hilarious and misleading. Heck, everybody "took down Rudisha" who's clearly still has ways to go. This was more like an Amos-Aman duel and Amos is much better.
Yo, he really took that mofo DOWN. When it was hammer time, he threw it down and it was game over for that biotch. He owned him like a total boss.
They said Rudisha has only been training for 4 months and he ran 1:44. He'll be back to 1:40 shape in a few months.
I know that guy :). You should have asked him about Zuma on Letsrun, he would have had laughed.

Not happening you could see they could not handle Runisha round the last bend, only lack of race fitness caused Rudisha to slow. If Rudisha had run for a place he could have got 3rd but you can see he still has the attitude of the top dog. Tim Hutchings said Rudisha mentioned he stull has a niggle - if his injuries clear up he is still the clear No1 and that 1:41 for Amos would be more impressive if it was not 2 years away - you would expect someone to get faster not slower
I think that 1:41:73 will be a lifetime PR for Amos, but he's clearly No. 1 until Rudisha regains fitness.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
