Does anyone know if sticking your arms out like that can count as an interference/grounds for a DQ? As much as I like to see people who get cocky fall, I don't want Makhloufi DQ'ed, I just want to know if a DQ could happen.
As a freshman, right as I was finishing a cross country race and there were two guys from the same team who started dancing with each other right before the finish line. They blocked it and I couldn't get around. Then I heard the old guy by the timer yell, "You're both disqualified!" A little severe, but it probably was justified.
seeing makh lose that way was excellent - he should just go all the way and be the 'bad guy' in track like they have in wrestling.
