How many shorts, socks, shirts, etc. do you bring with you for a week long trip where you plan to run more or less everyday? And as a corollary, how do you wash the stuff, in the sink? I'm thinking 2 sets of everything should work since I can wash/dry on the day that I am running with the other stuff.

Fresh socks for every run. One pair shorts, two shirts.
14 shorts, socks and shirts specifically to work out in. 2 pair of shoes. I don't live like a bum just because I'm traveling.
1 of each, shower with clothes and hang dry, if its not that hot the washing can be skipped for most of the days
4 socks, 2 shorts, 3-4 shorts. Running stuff packs up nicely and doesn't weigh much or take much space in your bags. Wash in your sink when u need. Sometimes I just sling it on the floor of the shower and let the soap drain through it. The biggest issue is the trip home: it isn't nice to put smelly stuff in your luggage so try to clean it all before you leave.

I was just thinking about the same for vacation. 1 and 1, but I'm with the other poster and I'm bringing 7 sets of socks.

This belongs in the "what's the most girly thing you do?" thread.
You don't want to be gassing everyone with your B.O on your vacation, so if your a heavy sweater or training hard, then bring at least 4 changes, fresh socks for each run. If you are doing mostly easy workouts, then bring 3. Wash in the sink.
