Shes so hot
Shes so hot
She's like a supermodel who runs fast
Yes, but did she look relaxed?
Nah. Short legs, long torso. not so hot. Usually fast. Doping aura hangs.
A lot of ethio elite chicks are hotties. Buzu Deba is another notable one

True, but I can't take any name like "Buzu" seriously. Genzebe is a much nicer name. It rolls off the tongue. Just like I want my tongue to roll of her.

Her legs look short because they're buff.
Older sister Tirunesh is the real "babe" among Ethiopian distance runners. Great legs and beautiful face. But Genzebe is a very attractive girl herself. She has more muscular legs, which might make her look less graceful than Tiru. Is it just my eyes, or does she look thicker than she did during her recent record-setting indoor season? She had no kick whatsoever in the race, which makes me think she's overtrained (maybe with weights), had an off night, or both. Speculation, I know, but compare what you saw when she was setting the indoor track on fire with what you saw in Doha where she faded from first to sixth in less than a lap. I wish her the best. She is a major talent.
Tiru is The Queen for sure.
There is a cute Ethio woman who works in my gran's retirement home, looks like a Dibaba sister. Just wanna scoop her up!
Well, I took a look at a few of Genzebe's recent indoor world record races, including the two-mile in 9:00. In Doha she ran an 8:26 3000 meters while fading to sixth. Yes, she looked heavier in Doha, but when you compare the two times, with just 200 meters difference, they're pretty comparable. You really gotta give Obiri, Cherono and the others some credit. Dibaba ran a PB in Doha and still lost badly. Maybe Dibaba simply lost to some better runners in Doha. The winner, Obiri, has a great history, too. If you'd like to see how great her kick really is, watch her outkick one of the greatest women's kickers out there, the great Meseret Defar:
Sentayehu Ejigu is another beautiful Ethiopian runner. I haven't seen her for a long time though
Here's a pretty good analysis of Genzebe's older sister Tirunesh's running form. She's the most beautiful runner I've ever seen. It's a cliche, I know, but she makes it look effortless. Genzebe and Defar look great when they run, too, but no one matches Tiru.
Here you have some non-running video of Genzebe. She's indeed charming.

I watched this race live (recorded on Direct TV though) with my brother Friday night.
We just couldn't understand what was going on with regard to Dibaba.
My bro had said that Dibaba would smoke everyone. I told him that Cherono would win.
When they came round the curve for the finish, it was clear that the race was between Cherono and Obiri and I switched to Obiri. My bro. kept telling me to make up my mind. We always have this game before every race where we always list (predict) the top three and then compare notes after the race.
After the race, we kept wondering as to what happened to Dibaba until we saw that she had posted a PB and that is when we concluded that the first five runners were just excellent.
I think there is really nothing wrong with Dibaba. There are just some good runners out there.
My most impressive runner in all this was my little girl Faith. She lost to two great athletes. She is only 19 or thereabout. definitely a teenager who is in high school.
Great race!
Yes, Genzebe is very cute but Tiru is a cut above -both in running and the looks department.

Yes, Genze is charming indeed. I'd love to see her have the success of Tiru. Then again, it's not a stretch to say that Tiru is the best ever. Sure, the Chinese were great for a short time, but highly suspect. Can't count Meseret Defar out, either. She is right up there with Tiru and has beaten her in the 5,000, an event in which they traded world records. I loved seeing Defar win that Olympic 5,000 even though I'm partial to Tiru. She was all tears, and she kept exclaiming "Win! Win!" Beautiful moment by a very classy lady.
