did a workout of 600m, 300jog, 300m, 300 jog, 8 150's.
hit 63 secs first 400, but died last 100 into 1:37.
300m was 47, definitely could've gone faster, held back a bit, considering i did 300's in 45 during the week.
150's ranged from 20-22 seconds. think one dipped to 19.

never race 800
whats a time to aim for and a good pacing strategy to hit this? ultimately i want to go sub 2:10 this season, think my speed/speed endurance limits me more than anything else.

Do a prediction workout:
600m, 30 sec rest, 200m all out
...
8X200, 30 sec rest (Kenyans like this one)
...
2 X 60 seconds all out, 3 min rest (look up Kosmin Test on the web)
Then go out 2-3 seconds faster than indicated 800 pace (you slow down a bit on the second lap)
well earlier in the week i ran 2(400,300,200) with 3 min, 3 min, 2 min rest.
got 64,63, 45,46,28,30
Just tuck in behind the leader, stalk the leader for 750 meters, then sprint for the win.
not a race I'm lkley to win. unless this was a joke
is 2:05 a reasonable goal for the end of the season considering that i've only been running year and a half or so?
