I was out on easy run today, probably 7 min pace, and this guy rides by on his bike. He is old, kinda fat, and has his helmet tilted at an that angle that exposes all important parts of the skull, suggesting he is foreign to hard exercise. Anyway, he sees me running by, and smiles real wide-like, then yells at me very loudy: "You ain't joggin', you're runnin', babby!!!"
I thought it was great. In light of the recent hostile threads about mean comments being yelled. This guy seemed genuinely friendly and added a hiny of spritely-ness to my step the rest of my run.
Anyone else have friendly, neighborly encounters while running like this?
