The big news of the day is Liliya Shobukhova's banning and retroactive annulment of her performances from 2009 onwards.
Shobukhova won the 2010 Chicago Marathon. Desi Davila (now Linden) was 4th that year. That should move Desi up to third place.
According to the press releases, Shobukhova must pay back all prize money. For winning Chicago in 2010, she made $75,000.
It stands to reason that if Shobukhova pays back the money and Desi moves up in the standings from 4th, Desi should get the money she rightfully earned as the 3rd place finisher. Desi got paid $15,000 for 4th that year; 3rd place was $25,000.
Chicago should do the right thing and pay Desi the $10,000 she should have gotten as the third place finisher, as well as the other displaced runners who ran Chicago from 2009 - 2012 (and London in 2009 - 2011).
