Haile is pulling out of a race after he's won all his gold medals. Rupp was pulling out before he won his silver.
I PULL OUT EVERY NIGHT!
My eyes were burning and I was suffocating on my easy run today. Strides were like a nightmare. F anyone who doesn't suffer allergies and considers it an "excuse".

It's kinda pathetic though. The best physical specimens of the human race don't suffer from allergies. Just weaklings.
Are you kidding? Geb was pulling the pollen card when Rupp was still in diapers.
My guess is you've never had bad allergies. I've been allergy-free for my entire life until this year. Racing with allergies is awful. You're legitimately choking on mucus the whole time. You need to breathe to, um, run fast. Medication helps but doesn't totally fix it. On really bad days it can lead to asthma attacks. After one particularly bad workout I almost bought myself a pollen mask like Rupp.
A couple of hard hits of an unfiltered Camel will open up your lungs.
That's the way the old school Soviet bloc runners did it.
Lel is out too. Who's left? Felix Keny, Yuki Kawauchi and Tilahun Regassa, according to what's on Twitter. Anyone else?
Pshh, Haile was pulling out of races due to air toxins when Rupp was just a little Ducky. Remember, Haile pulled out of the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
Anyone good at photoshop, we'd love to see a picture of Haile with a mask like Rupp:

We'd probably use it for TWTW (The week that was) next week.
In which case, you must be Kenenisa himself, posting under a retarted pseudonym, in order to call 12:37/26:22/2:03:59 the operations of a "weakling".

i am pretty sure haile will crush the masters wr sooner or later.
march/april were way too warm. new pollen records right now.
He didn't get his Generation Ucan shipment in good time! Meb was too busy winning Boston and forgot that Haile had ordered for the potent herb. After Meb won Boston, he decided to hike up the price and Haile was so mad that he decided to cancel his assignment in Hamburg.

The best physical specimens? Really, you're going with that?
I started sneezing today, and I said, "dammit, I ain't allergic to shit," and it stopped. That's all you have to do.

Yup. That's all a multiple Olympic champ had to do.
What kind of medals did you get, again?
Like I just said, it's easy. What would winning medals have to do with it?
Not sure if you ever experienced w/allergies but it's not fun when you race during the season. I sneeze like a mad woman during this time and it's no fun. Over the counter meds don't always work--I just suck it up and just run. Sure I could get an inhaler but why? Not like I'm racing for a living...just saying.
My guess is Haile realized how superior the record is and decided to pull out. Espinoza's record is ranked as the best in the books and Haile hasn't even run a marathon in over 2 years. That's a long time when to a 41 year old.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
